So ,Hi guys! I am back again with another neuroluscious( if that’s a word:p) blog! I hope you are doing good ❤ So as I discussed about neuroplasticity in my previous blog, today we will be talking about how to get benefitted from it.To be precise, how to enhance our brain’s ability to form new synapes and new connections!

Aerobic and Anerobic Exercise

In September 2017,School of Science and health Australia, University of Mancester conducted a research proving an increase in cortical thickness in the pre/post central gyrus after months of exercise.

In Dec 2017, University of Mancester conducted a research on children undergoing months of training in terms of aerobic exercise and then checked for their cortical thickness which increased. But We need to understand that aerobic exercise is not weight lifting so all that muscle toning is really not going to be that beneficial in terms of our brain. Exercise also increases BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor) which regulates the formation and maintenance of memory.

Meditation

Meditation especially Transcendal meditation I will be making a blog post of it soon too so don’t worry.!;) Or mindfulness we will talk about that too in great detail are promising in terms of increasing anterior insular mass which connect us with our subjective internal states.

Adversity

Adversities also helps brain expansion

TRAVELLING

You don’t have to always travel abroad or to another city even a weekend road trip is beneficial 🙂
